Telecom operator, Vodafone Idea, has been associated with Citibank for a while now. Extending the partnership with Citi Bank, Vodafone has announced an offer under which prepaid subscribers of Vodafone Idea can get services free for 365 days. After purchasing a Citi Bank Credit card and spending Rs 4,000 with the card, Vodafone will offer the subscribers unlimited voice calling and 1.5GB daily data for a period of 365 days. Essentially, the company is providing a Rs 1,699 prepaid plan at no extra cost to the subscribers, however, to avail this offer, they have to get a Citi Bank credit bank, but the offer is impressive, to say the least. Notably, Idea is also providing a similar offer to its prepaid customers as well, so we can safely say the offer is applicable on Vodafone Idea network overall.

Vodafone Idea Citibank Credit Card Offer Details

The first part to note about this offer on Citibank Credit Cards is the freebies. Vodafone has said that subscribers who meet all the criteria will get to enjoy 1.5GB daily data along with free unlimited calling for a year, i.e. 365 days. To be eligible for this offer, subscribers will have to head over to the Vodafone offer page and register for a Citibank Credit card. When the subscribers get the Citi Credit Card, they will be required to spend a minimum amount of Rs 4,000 from the credit card either in one go or cumulatively over 30 days from the date of issue of card. When subscribers satisfy this criterion, they will be able to get the benefits of this offer.

It is worth noting that since this offer is unlike the usual ones which the telcos ship, subscribers should take an in-depth look at the terms and conditions of the offer. The first major thing that subscribers should keep in mind before going ahead with the registration is that this offer will be valid only for prepaid subscribers of Vodafone and not postpaid subscribers. Further, Vodafone has also declared that the offer will only be extended on the purchase of any of the four cards: Rewards, IOC, Cashback and Premier Miles Credit card only.

Vodafone Idea Citibank Offer Ends on July 31

The terms of the Citi Credit Card Offer also note that it will be live only until July 31, meaning that this is a limited period offer. Similar to the offer which Idea has rolled out for its consumers, the terms of the offer mandate that the subscriber should be at least 23 years of age to be eligible for the benefits of this offer. The eligible customer should also be from any one of the cities listed which include Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Secunderabad, Chennai, Baroda, Coimbatore, Jaipur and Chandigarh. Lastly, the 1.5GB daily data and unlimited calling benefit will be credited to the users in 45 days of meeting the eligibility criteria and on receiving the benefits of this plan, any previous plan that you might be having on your Vodafone number will be forfeited, Vodafone has noted. The same terms and conditions apply to Idea network as well.

Vodafone Idea Basically Offering Rs 1,699 Yearly Prepaid Plan to Subscribers

If you look at the offer closely, Vodafone Idea is providing Rs 1,699 prepaid plan to its subscribers with the Citibank Credit Card offer. The telco has been offering discounts to postpaid customers under the same Citibank partnership for a while, and it has now extended the same to prepaid customers. However, do make a note that the offer ends on July 31, 2019, which is tomorrow, so hurry up and apply for a new card right now from Vodafone or Idea website. The Rs 1,699 prepaid plan from Vodafone Idea ships with 1.5GB daily data, 100 SMSes per day and unlimited voice calling for 365 days.
