Bharti Airtel is working on several changes to compete with the rival networks, and the brand even announced its 'Project Next,' which focusses on making the network digital. As a part of the project, Airtel announced that a new Postpaid Promise scheme, under which the operator promises various new features.
For example, all the changes made to your postpaid network will happen in real time. For example, if you want to change the plan, you can do it from the application or via Self Care portal, and the changes will reflect in a split second, unlike the four hours time which it used to take earlier.
That said, Airtel is offering a plethora of new features in the My Airtel Self Care website. Here are the five important features what Airtel's New SelfCare portal offers.
Better Control of Your Usage
Bharti Airtel recently revamped the complete Airtel SelfCare portal which now provides much better info and the best part is you can compare this month's usage to the previous month's. This mainly helps you to maintain the benefits for the entire billing cycle.
That said, it allows you to compare SMS, data, and voice calls. The voice calls department includes local mobile calls, STD mobile calls, and national roaming calls, allowing you to track your usage.
Do make a note that this comparison will be made for your billing cycles. For example, if your billing cycle is from 22nd of this month to 22nd of the next month, then the comparison will be done for that particular period itself, and the statistics will be compared for the same period.
Control as Many as Airtel Accounts
Airtel also allows you to add as many as Airtel accounts on to your account. For example, you can add a broadband connection, or another postpaid connection, and a prepaid, or DTH. Airtel will allow you to link as many Airtel accounts with your account. And you can even control the added accounts by directly recharging or paying bills, and so on.
Change the Plan Instantly
The Airtel SelfCare portal allows you to change the broadband or postpaid plan instantly without any issues. It also allows you to recharge your Airtel DTH and even remove/modify the existing package of Airtel DTH.
Request a New 4G SIM Card
Another interesting feature in the Airtel SelfCare portal is that you can request for a new 4G SIM card if your old SIM is damaged. This option is present under the device section. The website asks you to enter the address details where the SIM card's to be delivered.
You Can Also Manage Your Airtel Payments Bank Account
After launching the Airtel Payments Bank last year, the company has integrated the feature to both of its mobile app and SelfCare portal. Having said that, you can manage your Airtel Payments Bank account such as checking the balance, managing transactions, making a recharge or bill payment, and money transfers.
