Reliance Communications (RCom) has come up with yet another attractive plan, but this time for prepaid customers. RCom has unveiled a plan of Rs. 193, where the company is offering 1GB data per day for 28 days. RCom is calling the plan as 'Internet Dhamaka Offer,' and it's on par with other telecom operators plans.

As the plan name itself suggests, this plan doesn't offer any voice call or SMS benefits, which is a letdown, but you can't ask more for the asking price. RCom is going against the likes of Reliance Jio, Airtel, Idea Cellular, and BSNL with this plan.

Reliance Jio is offering the 1GB data per day for 84 days along with free voice calling at Rs. 309 (JioPrime user). And Airtel is offering similar benefits at Rs. 348 (1GB data per day and unlimited calls) for 28 days. And coming to Idea Cellular, it also has a similar plan of Rs. 396 offering 1GB data per day and unlimited calls for 70 days.

Besides this new plan, RCom also announced some postpaid plans starting from Rs. 239 and goes all the way up to Rs. 499. The Rs. 239 postpaid plan gives 6GB data per month and unlimited local calls. There's a new Rs. 333 postpaid plan which provides 30GB data and 1000 minutes of voice calls per billing cycle.

All these apart, BSNL is leading this segment by offering better benefits than all the operators. The Rs. 333 Triple ACE plan gives 3GB data per day for 90 days, while the Rs. 339 plan provides 2GB data per day and unlimited BSNL to BSNL calls, 25 minutes of BSNL to other network calls.

The state-run operator also launched a new plan of Rs. 666 yesterday, which gives 2GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 60 days.

Furthermore, a recent report claimed that RCom is looking to merge its business with the new entrant Reliance Jio by 2020. RCom has already announced the merger with Aircel and named the combined entity as AirCom.
