ZTE Blade A2 Plus Launched In India With 5000mAh Battery, 4G VoLTE For Rs. 11,999 To Rival Redmi Note 4

ZTE has launched the Blade A2 Plus smartphone in India featuring a massive 5000mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 11,999 and will be exclusively up for sale via Flipkart, starting from February 6. It will be available in Gold and Silver color variants.

Regarding specifications, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus comes with a metal unibody design and a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5d curved glass display bearing a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by a 64-bit 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750T chipset coupled with Mali T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It has 32GB internal storage onboard, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone also features a fingerprint sensor that is placed at the rear.

On the software front, the Blade A2 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, and an 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash. The phone supports connectivity options such as Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The 5000mAh battery on the phone is packed with fast charging technology and can also be doubled up as a power bank for charging other devices.

Commenting on the launch, Sachin Batra, CMO, ZTE India Terminal, said,"With a young, tech-savvy audience, about 69 million consumers purchased their products online, and it is expected to cross 100 million by 2017. Our Blade-series smartphone, ZTE Blade A2 Plus comes with 4G LTE, VoLTE support and host of other features at an effective price. Through this phone, we take the first step to reach millions of Indians who are going digital. By eliminating multiple external factors, we want to bring the best phones that industry has to offer and at an effective price.Our partnership with Flipkart is in line with our growth strategy for this market, and we hope to leverage Flipkart’s strength and widen the reach for our products."

Given the specifications and especially the massive battery power, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus looks like a good buy. It can rival phones like Asus ZenFone 3s Max, Lenovo K6 Note, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
