Samsung's upcoming flagship - the Galaxy S8 is, without a doubt, one of the most awaited devices of the year. In the latest development about the next flagship - the alleged images, release date, and specs of the phone have been leaked on the internet.
These pictures of the Galaxy S8 have been leaked by the serial leakster - Evan Blass. He has shared two pictures of the Galaxy S8, showing the front and rear view of the device. These images are in line with the previous rumors that tipped large screen, and bezel-less design. Also, the Home Button is missing while the fingerprint sensor has been placed at the rear, right next to the camera lens. Reportedly, the rear camera on the phone is of 12-megapixel. Thankfully, Samsung has not ditched the 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity, the Galaxy S8 will also feature USB Type-C port while the speaker grille has been placed at the bottom edge.
A hardware button could also be spotted on the right edge, which might turn out to be a button for Samsung's own virtual assistant - Bixby. As for the other specifications, Evan Blass tips that the Galaxy S8 models will come with 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch displays. These phones are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). Many previous leaks have also tipped that the phone might feature pressure sensitive display, but the images could not confirm that.
Regarding the release date, Blass says that the Galaxy S8 will come out of the veil on March 29 at Samsung's Unpacked event in New York. He also says that the two variants of the Galaxy S8 will be put on sale from April 21 and they might retail at EUR 799 (approx. Rs. 58,100) and EUR 899 (approx. Rs. 65,400). Going by the pricing, the Galaxy S8 seems to be priced EUR 100 higher than its predecessor.
