Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 with 9.7-inch Display and Windows 10 Leaks Ahead of Launch

After unveiling the Mi Pad 2 in November, last year, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch the Mi Pad 3 soon. Today, a few alleged images of the rumoured device have surfaced on the internet.

According to the leaked pictures, the Mi Pad 3 will feature a 9.7-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display and Windows 10 OS. Xiaomi might unveil the device in China on December 30. In addition to images, rumoured specifications of the Mi Pad 3 state that the device will come powered by 7th generation 2.6GHz dual-core Intel M3-7Y30 processor, which is a change from the Mi Pad 2 that came powered by Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor.

The device might come with an all-metal 6.08mm slim body, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM, 128GB/256GB storage variants, and a massive 8290mAh battery. There will also be a fingerprint sensor, which will be placed on the front. Unlike the Mi Pad 2 that was launched in Windows and Android variants, the Mi Pad 3 might just come in a single variant running Windows 10.

For pricing, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 might be launched for 1999 yuan (Rs. 19540 approx.) for the 128GB storage variant and 2299 yuan (Rs. 22470 approx.) for the 256GB storage variant. Xiaomi is also expected to launch a magnetic keyboard alongside, which will be priced at 99 yuan. The company might also introduce an Android version of the Mi Pad 3. The Mi Pad 3 is said to weigh 380 grammes and measure 239.5x164.5x6.08 mm.
