Coolpad has come up with two 4G-enabled smartphones for the Indian market, dubbed as the Coolpad Note 3S and Coolpad Mega 3. The Coolpad Note 3S is priced at Rs. 9,999 while the Coolpad Mega 3 will retail at Rs. 6,999. Both the phones will be exclusively up for sale on Amazon, starting from December 7.
Coming on to the specifications, the Coolpad Note 3S features a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, and is powered by a 64-bit 1.36GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Cool UI and packs in 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. There is a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel. For connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. A 2500mAh battery backs the Coolpad Note 3S.
On the Othe hand, the Coolpad Mega 3 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display (720x1080 pixels) and is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card). The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Cool UI. It packs an 8-megapixel of rear camera and front camera.
The phone is backed by a 3050mAh battery, which is touted by the company to stay up to 200 hours on standby mode. Regarding connectivity, the Coolpad Mega 3S supports triple-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. The phone will be up for sale in Gold, Grey, and White colour variants.
