Reliance Retail has added another budget smartphone to its line of Lyf devices – Lyf Water 8. Priced at Rs. 10,999, Reliance Lyf Water 8 smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution wrapped in a metal frame and a glass back. This dual-SIM smartphone is powered by an octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor with Adreno 405 GPU on top and paired with 3GB RAM. There is a 16GB internal memory for the smartphone, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. This Lyf smartphone will run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Both SIM slots of Lyf Water 8 are 4G-enabled. However, at a time, only one slot can be used for 4G connectivity. Located at the rear of a Reliance Lyf Water 8 is a 13MP autofocus camera and in the front, there is a 5MP snapper. Both supports LED flash. There are other images enhancing features such as ChromaFlash, OptiZoom, Exmor-R CMOS Image Sensor, Face detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Touch to focus, White Balance, and ISO.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. A 2600mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery that promises up to 10 hours of 4G talk time, powers the phone.

Reliance Lyf Water 8 is available in two colour variants – black and white. It measures 142mm x 70.5mm x 7.0mm.
