TCL 562 smartphone with 5.5-inch display, 4G connectivity, 13MP camera launched in India at Rs. 10,999

The Chinese electronics company TCL Corp. has expanded its portfolio in India by launching TCL 562 smartphone. TCL 562 smartphone boasts of a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display and octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC processor with Mali T860 GPU on top. There exist a 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage as well. The internal storage is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.


In terms of camera, TCL 562 smartphone features a 13MP camera at the rear side coupled with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and 5P lens. The front camera is that of 5MP and it comes with LED flash, 84.4-degree wide-angle lens. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button of the smartphone. The fingerprint scanner is claimed to be capable of unlocking the smartphone in 0.3 seconds.


In terms of connectivity, TCL 562 smartphone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. It is a dual-SIM smartphone. A 2960mAh battery completes the package.

TCL 562 smartphone comes in Gold color variant and is priced at Rs. 10,999. It will be available on Amazon India from August 3. As a launch offer, Idea customers will get free 1GB data per month for three months and Kindle e-book credit of Rs. 200.

Commenting on the launch, Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, TCL India said, “Our entry into the smartphones and television category in India is a strategic move that reinforces our commitment to lead technology and innovation.”

Alongside the launch of TCL 562, the company has also launched two television models in P1 series and two variants in D2900 series in India. The televisions launched under P1 series include a 48-inch TCL C48P1FS Curved Full HD Smart TV priced at Rs. 37,990 and a 43-inch TCL L43P1US 4K Ultra HD Smart TV priced at Rs. 31,990. Under D2900 series, a 40-inch TCL L40D2900 Full HD TV at Rs. 20,990 and a 32-inch TCL L32D2900 HD Ready TV at Rs. 13,990 are launched. All the devices are Amazon India exclusive.
