Although Samsung has reportedly reduced the number of launches, there are new rumors surfaced online saying that they have plans to introduce five flagship products for the year 2017. Samsung’s awaited smartphone with a foldable display is one among the five said to make an appearance next year. Samsung has already released their pre-flexed or curved displays smartphone with Samsung S6 Edge and these foldable smartphones go one step ahead – by allowing the users to be able to fold in or fold out the device based on his/her usage. This also means when the smartphone-sized device is unfolded, users will get a device of larger size, to say of that of a tablet. The manufacturer is rumored to pack a 4K resolution screen with a diamond PenTile sub pixel arrangement in such foldable phones.

Other smartphones awaited to launch in 2017 include Galaxy S8, S8 Edge, Note7 and Note7 Edge. The sources say that these smartphones will come with 2.5K resolution Super AMOLED displays with RGB sub-pixel arrangement.
