Micromax launches Canvas Mega 2 phablet with 6-inch display, 4G LTE at Rs. 7999

Micromax has come up with yet another device in its Canvas series, names as Canvas Mega 2. It is 6-inch phablet, which is priced at Rs. 7,999. It is up for sale in Black color option.

The Mega 2 smartphone comes with a 6-inch (960 x 540) qHD IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It bears 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device supports 4G LTE. The phone runs Android Lollipop 5.0 and features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB.

Commenting on the launch Mr. Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax said, "With the launch of Canvas Mega 2, we will surely drive the value for money phablet category in the country by addressing major consumer pain points of better viewing experience and more productivity on-the-go at disruptive price points. With the cricketing season on its roll, the new smartphone will be a true haven for the sports aficionados in the country as they will be able to consume best quality cricket viewing experience on the move." he added.
