Lenovo sold 5 lakh units of Vibe K4 Note in India since launch

Lenovo has sold 500,000 units of the Vibe K4 Note smartphone in India, announces the company. The smartphone was first launched in India on January 19. Besides Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, the company also claimed that it sold 100,000 units of the Ant virtual reality (VR) headsets sold via Amazon at Rs. 1,299.

Lenovo K4 Note Launched In India




At launch in January, the Vibe K4 Note bundle with Ant VR virtual reality headset was priced at Rs. 13,299. Now, the company brings back this bundle offer for Rs. 12,499 via Amazon. The new bundle already started. The biggest highlight of the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is its feature TheaterMax. It enables converting a regular content to its VR counterpart. Powered by Lenovo Virtual Reality (VR) technology, the idea is to give users a virtually large screen cinematic experience.

In terms of other specifications, the phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI skin on top. This dual-SIM, dual-4G Lenovo K4 Note boasts of a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 401ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC, coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM. Located at the rear is a 13 MP camera with PDAF autofocus, a f/2.2 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. At the front, there is a 5MP camera for selfie takers.

In terms of storage, Vibe K4 Note comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM radio. The device is charged by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging, which promises to offer 265 hours of 3G standby time, and 22 hours of 3G talk-time.
