After a series of leaks, Huawei has finally announced the Honor 5C. The device is a successor to the Honor 4C, which was launched in 2015. It will be up for sale in two variants - Standard (without 4G) and Dual 4G. As of now, the smartphone is limited for sale in China at 899 yuan (approx. Rs. 9,230 standard variant) and 999 yuan (approx. Rs. 10,250 Dual 4G variant). Huawei has not yet revealed any detail regarding Honor 5C's global release.
Coming on to the specs, the device features a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display, and is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 650 16nm chipset. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 skin on top. It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. In addition, it also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear, which is touted by the company to unlock the device in 0.5 seconds. It offers multi-band 2G/3G connectivity (standard variant) along with Cat.6 LTE (4G version only) for speeds up to 300Mbps (maximum) and 50Mbps (minimum).
