Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has introduced five new unlimited broadband plans exclusive for Ghaziabad SSA of UP (West) circle. The plans also include two affordable ‘Super Speed’ VDSL unlimited plans. The new broadband plans are introduced as promotional offer for a period of 90 days with effect from April 7, 2016. The new VDSL broadband plans---‘BBG Super Speed ULD 1499’ and ‘BBG Super Speed ULD 2499’, offer speed up to 16 Mbps and 24 Mbps respectively with FUP limit of 50GB.

BSNL also has introduced BBG Speed ULD 991, offering speed of up to 8 Mbps with FUP limit of 50GB. Similarly, BBG ULD 799 and BBG ULD 599 plans offer speeds of 4Mbps and 2Mbps with FUP limit 20GB and 10GB, respectively.
The new broadband plans offer higher speed and increased FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit compared to existing plans from BSNL.

The new broadband plan is part of BSNL’s strategy of introducing more SSA and circle specific broadband plans to counter competition from local broadband players. As with other circle/SSA specific plans, the above plans are only offered in those locations/colonies of Ghaziabad SSAs, where there is a matching competition from private operators.

However, post FUP speed is limited to 512 Kbps for normal plans and 1 Mbps for VDSL plans. The plans also offer unlimited free calls between 9 PM to 7 AM to any network in India. The broadband plans are also available on FTTH with same Fixed Monthly Charges. Annual payment benefit of making advance payment for one, two and three years is available on all plans.
