Vodafone has decided to celebrate Holi with its customers through an interesting campaign ‘Share Happiness’. Under the campaign, the service provider asks the residents of Uttarakhand and UP-West to visit the nearest Vodafone store and donate their textbooks and comics. The service provider intends to supply the collected books to the NGO partners for less privileged children.
The campaign is a part of the service provider’s initiative to create sustainable and better environment. It targets at the less privileged children of the state who are forced to drop out of schools due to various reasons. The initiative is open for all and can be participated from 18-31 March 2016.
“Sustainability is one of the core philosophies of Vodafone and that makes this initiative even more important and central to its beliefs. It is a manifestation of Vodafone’s commitment to bring smile on the faces of people and extend its support to the society. The activity is pertinently timed with ‘Holi’ as it is celebrated as the festival of colours. Sharing and contributing a little joy in someone’s life will make the festival even more colourful,” said Dipankar Ghoshal, Business Head – UP-West, Vodafone India.
“We are making use of our retail footprint in the region to facilitate this initiative. We are confident that this initiative will see an overwhelming support from the people of Uttarakhand & UP-West and together we will make this endeavour a success” he added.
In Uttarakhand & UP-West, Vodafone stores are located in Dehradun, Agra, Meerut, and Bareilly.
