Google has as many as eight keyboard apps for Android devices in the Play Store. One of them is Google Hindi Keyboard, which was released a few months ago along with Android 5.0 Lollipop with support for Hindi and Hinglish typing. Now, the search giant has renamed the keyboard to Google Indic Keyboard after adding support for ten additional Indic languages.

With this latest update, the keyboard app now supports typing in ten indic languages – Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu – apart from English and Hindi. The app also supports transliteration to your native language if you pronounce the words in English.
