A month after releasing the iOS 9 software update for compatible devices, Apple has released a smaller iOS 9.1 update, which focusses a lot on bug fixes, performance improvements, battery life enhancements, and further enhancements to existing features.
The Apple iOS 9.1 update was rolled out late last night, and it is compatible with all the iPhones, iPads, and iPods for which the iOS 9 was released for. The update brings 150 new emoji characters and improves Live Photos. Apple has also improved stability of inbuilt apps – CarPlay, Music, Photos, Safari, and Spotlight Search – speeds up the multitasking UI.
