Every year, Google organises the annual online sale – the Great Indian Shopping Festival – that promises great discounts and offers for online buyers. However, this year, Flipkart has announced its own version of such sale dubbed 'Big Billion Days', which is starting from October 13, and will continue till October 17, 2015. To compete with Flipkart, two other major online stores – Amazon India and Snapdeal – have announced their own versions of annual online sales. Amazon's sale will match with Flipkart's, so it will start tomorrow, but Snapdeal's Electronics Monday Sale has already started from today.
Snapdeal is also offering cashback offers for purchases carried out using HDFC Debit Cards, Standard Chartered Debit and Credit Cards, YES Bank Debit Cards, and FreeCharge.
