Google finally took the wraps off its latest Nexus 7 device by Huawei, named as the Nexus 6P. The device will be available in three storage variants — 32GB/64GB/128GB. It will go on pre-order via Google Store in the U.K, U.S, Japan, Ireland, and the shipping procedure will be initiated in October.

Coming on to the specifications, the Huawei Nexus 6P comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display (2560×1440 pixels), and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and features a 12.3-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. There is a fingerprint sensor onboard, which is placed on the rear of the device for screen lock and Android Pay.
The device is crafted in anodized aluminum body with 7.3 mm thickness. In the connectivity department, the device supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and is backed by a 3,450 mAh battery. The Huawei Nexus 6P also features dual front-facing speakers. It will be available in Aluminium, Graphite, and Frost White color variants. Google has also revealed the device’s pricing for India; the 32GB variant will be retailing at Rs. 39,999. Moreover, as a result of Nexus 7 launch, Google has also slashed the pricing of Nexus 6 to Rs. 33,800 (32GB), and Rs 37,600 (64GB).

Google also revealed in the event that it is going to start rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9, and Nexus Player devices from the upcoming week.
