OnePlus, the smartphone startup, received huge amounts of interest for its first smartphone, the One due to its high-specifications and low-price combo. One of the important aspects that led to its immense popularity was the presence of Cyanogen operating system which Android enthusiasts greatly appreciate. The company had originally announced OnePlus One for just 17 countries but it decided to launch the device in India as it received massive interest from the Indian consumers. Well, it looks like OnePlus One will be launched in India very soon. Amazon India has posted a teaser image for the launch of OnePlus One through their official Facebook account.
OnePlus has also posted a contest to its official forums. 100 lucky winners of the contest will get the first set of India-specific invites for the smartphone. Winners of the India-specific OnePlus invites won’t be able to share the invites with consumers from other countries. The 64GB variant of the OnePlus One is expected to be priced below Rs. 25,000, competing with Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 4 and the HTC Desire 820. However, the company had announced that it will provide complete warranty to those who have already bought the device from the official website.
Dear friends,
As our first birthday grows closer every day, we’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about the people who made this all possible. Our fans in India have been extremely passionate and supportive over the past 11 months, and we want to take this time to say thank you.
