BSNL-logoBSNL had introduced a special tariff voucher in July for nationwide roaming for Rs 33 for 90 days. Well, it went on to become pretty popular and as a result, the same has been re-introduced for its prepaid customers. The STV has been again introduced for a promotional period of 90 days which will come into effect starting from 1-November-2014. Let us take a look at what it offers:

  • Cost: Rs 33
  • Validity: 7 days
  • Incoming calls while roaming: Free
  • Local and STD calling: 1.5 paisa/sec
  • Everything else: According to your regular tariffs

Such roaming plans make a lot of sense as they save you a lot of money while roaming. So every time you go out for 4-5 days, you can opt for the weekly roaming plans and save money. Usually, the tariffs run into Re 1.5/minute for calling and receiving calls and when it gets converted to seconds, you end up saving a lot more. On the other hand, the incoming becomes free as well.
