Lava QPAD R704 tablet with quad-core processor launched for Rs 8,499

Lava has added one more tablet, QPAD R704 to its QPAD series of tablets. The QPAD R704 is enabled with voice-calling over 3G and can be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat. It is priced at Rs 8,499, available pan India through physical and online stores.

In terms of specifications, the QPad R704 boasts a 7-inch IPS (1024x600 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage further expandable up to 32GB. The QPAD R704 sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The tablet also features High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), Snapdragon Audio with 3D surround sound output, Qualcomm Interference Cancellation and Equalization (Q-ICE), which tapers noise in the cellular network.

Lava QPAD R704 is a single SIM tablet with connectivity options such as 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is backed by a 3200mAh battery, which is touted by the company, to deliver, 10 hours of talk time paired with Qualcomm Quick Charge technology which offers 30% faster charging.
