With this tool, you can run almost any Android app on Chrome OS

Few months ago at Google I/O, Google gave a demo of Android apps running on Chrome OS. But currently, Google is not opening its gates wide as it is manually launching certain selected apps. As of now, this feature is being launched with four compatible apps: Duolingo, Evernote, Sight Words, and Vine. One app which was not mentioned was Flipboard, which was also demoed at the I/O.

Over the coming months, we’ll be working with a select group of Android developers to add more of your favorite apps so you’ll have a more seamless experience across your Android phone and Chromebook,” the company said in its announcement.

But if you can’t wait to install all your favourite Android apps on your Chromebook, you can use ‘Chrome-APK’, which is a new tool which allows users to install almost any Android app on the Chrome OS. The developer introduced this hack tool to run any Android app on Chrome OS in r/Android and they have even posted a video about it.
