Remember that time when we brought to you the story of BSNL increasing its missed call alert tariff. We got a lot of responses stating that BSNL was charging too much. But it looks like that BSNL has heard the feedback regarding the charges for the missed call tariffs and the charges for the same has been reduced to Rs 15/month from Rs 30/month.
The same will come into effect from the 14th of August, 2014 missed call alert facility is quite a functional one when you are on a network like BSNL which loses connectivity in times of you going into basements or elevators. But the network is the most widely spread in the nation too. And in areas where you get no other network, BSNL exists. And Rs 15/month seems like a fees justified enough to let you know what calls you missed when your device was switched off or out of network coverage areas.
