Xiaomi has surprised us to the core with the pricing of each of its smartphones. The Xiaomi Redmi 1s which is its cheapest smartphone offering has just been announced for Rs 6,999 and from the first look, it appears to be the best sub Rs 7,000 smartphone and the Moto E which is considered the benchmark comes nowhere close to it. Let us take a look at its specifications:

It is a phone which even if priced at Rs 13,999 (at par with Moto G) would have done better that Moto G. But it has been priced at par with Moto E which costs Rs 6,999. It is expected to go on sale soon but Xiaomi has surely shook the market with its range of devices.
