TATA DOCOMO has quietly raised its mobile data prices for customers in Maharashtra and Goa circle. The new data rates have been implemented after Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea announced hikes in data tariffs recently.
TATA DOCOMO has revised data packs on both 2G and 3G segment. The company has revised most of the old packs. 1 GB 2G Data, which cost Rs 149 for 28 days earlier, costs Rs 169 now. 3G packs will also cost more as TATA DOCOMO has hiked 1 GB data price to Rs 249 from Rs 198.

Earlier, TATA DOCOMO had started charging roaming rates between Kolkata & Rest of West Bengal and between UP East & UP West. Now they are also charging roaming rates between Mumbai & Maharashtra.
All local calls in Roaming to be charged at 80 paisa/min while STD outgoing calls at Rs 1.15 /min. Local SMS will be charged at 25 p & National SMS at 38 p. The company has also recently launched a new service for its prepaid GSM customers, “Emergency Talk Time Service”. Tata Docomo customers who have completed at least 90 days on the network and have a talk time balance of less than Rs 5 can now avail the service.
Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd showed a 4.5% year on year growth in total revenue at Rs 758 crore for the quarter ended 30th June 2015, compared to Rs 725 crore during the same quarter in the previous year. The revenue for the quarter is not fully comparable to previous periods as it has an impact of reduction of Interconnect Usage Charges on incoming traffic from 20p/min to 14p/min due to changes in TRAI Interconnect (IUC) regulations (Amendment XIth and XIIth) effective from 1st March 2015.
