Samsung is likely going to hike the price for the Galaxy S26 series. The Samsung Galaxy S26 series will likely have multiple devices including the Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. There might be an Edge device, but that’s likely going to launch only at a later point. Now, reports are surfacing online saying that the Galaxy S26 series could come at a higher price point in India due to the rising cost of components. It is not just Samsung, but the cost is rising for several OEMs (original equipment makers).

Samsung’s Mobile Experience (MX) division is struggling to keep the costs from rising, a recent report from The Bell (a Korean news outlet) said. The competition has intensified and this has led to Samsung incurring higher costs for parts of devices and labour. Thus, the cost to make the devices is going up for the company, suggesting a good chance that Samsung will sell its devices now for a higher price point.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series debuted in India at a starting price of Rs 80,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, on the other hand, was priced at Rs 1,29,999, for the 256GB variant, respectively. If the prices go up further from here, that might mean more burden for the customers who are excited to get their hands on a new piece of technology.
