Samsung Galaxy A6+ and Galaxy A8 Star Get a Whopping Price Cut of Up to Rs 7,000 in India

Two Samsung phones, the Samsung Galaxy A6+ and Galaxy A8 Star have received price cuts in India. It’s worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy A6+ was launched back in May with a price tag of Rs 25,990. However, the company subsequently slashed the price of the phone down to Rs 23,990 and then down to Rs 21,990 in July and August respectively. Similarly, the other phone, the Galaxy A8 Star which is actually the global variant of the Galaxy A9 Star had debuted with a price tag of Rs 34,990 originally when it first came in the market. Both these phones which have received the price cut sport a dual rear camera setup and come with Samsung’s Infinity Display Design.

Best Buy Prices of Samsung Galaxy A6+ and Galaxy A8 Star

After this recent price cut, the Samsung Galaxy A6+ will be available with a “best buy” price of Rs 18,990 which is Rs 7,000 down from its original price of Rs 25,990. Similarly, the Galaxy A8 Star has been given a “best buy” price tag of Rs 29,990. The new prices were not instantly reflected on online marketplaces like Amazon or Samsung’s own online store.

Instead, Mumbai based Mahesh telecom tweeted about the price changes first. Although this is not the first time that the Galaxy A6+ hs received the price slash, but it is definitely the first time that we are seeing Samsung cut the price on the Samsung A8 Star. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star was launched in August with an initial price tag of Rs 34,990.
