Reliance Offers Free Talk-time, Mobile Charging Service For Cyclone-hit Odisha

Reliance Communications (Rcom) today announced that company is offering a daily free recharge of 10 minutes for a period of five days, from October 20 to its customers in Odisha circle on both the CDMA and GSM platforms to ensure that they stay connected with their loved ones in this hour of need.

To help people connect with each other in the aftermath of devastation by cyclone Phailin, After Aircel, Reliance Communications (Rcom) is the 2nd mobile service provider which is offering free talk time to its customers in Odisha circle. Earlier Vodafone India and Bharti Airtel also announced Loan of Talk Time and “Chota Credit Recharge” for their customers in Odisha.

Given that electricity supply has been disrupted in many districts in the Odisha, Reliance Mobile has also stepped up relief and support measures for cyclone and flood-affected people of Odisha by setting up battery-charging centers at company stores and key markets in affected areas, same as all other leading mobile service operators in the circle.

Its an urgent and kind request to all, I bought Reliance haier cg220 gsm+cdma mobile. It offers internet connection via cdma 1x network but I don’t know about gsm/gprs access. Please if anyone have idea about accessing internet via gprs on this phone share it.
