Reliance Jio Subscribers Have Two Options to Choose From: All-in-One Plans or Combo of IUC and Data Plans

Reliance Jio made a major move in the past few weeks by the introduction of the IUC charges for its customers. The new IUC charge by Reliance Jio meant that the subscribers would have to pay 6 paise per minute while making calls to other network operators. This move was not liked by the consumers, but there is also nothing that the customers can do about it. As such, the tariff hike, which is being discussed in the telecom industry right now, happened for Reliance Jio a little early with an increase of almost 15% on its tariffs. However, with this new change happening in the industry, the subscribers had to face new trouble, and that was of a changed Reliance Jio portfolio meaning that the new plans and offerings had changed, and the subscribers had to invest more time in understanding these new plans. If you seem to be in a similar situation, do not worry because we have got you covered with a quick little explanation of how to select the proper Reliance Jio prepaid plan

Combo of Reliance Jio Prepaid Plans and IUC Talk time Vouchers

Firstly, it is important to note how Reliance Jio has structured its portfolio after the introduction of the IUC. Now, the data plans and combo offerings which existed in the Reliance Jio portfolio remain the same as before, but with this, Reliance Jio has also introduced the IUC talk time vouchers as well. These talk time vouchers come for various denominations like Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 as well. Recharging with these talk time vouchers, the subscribers will be able to spend the respective amount making calls to other telecom operators which are charged at 6 paise per minute now.

All-In-One Prepaid Plans

A little while after the introduction of these talk time vouchers, Reliance Jio realised that the subscribers would have to recharge their numbers twice, meaning that firstly they would have to get a data plan for their number and then they would have to get a talk time plan separately. To avoid this situation, Reliance Jio introduced the all-in-one plans which, as the name, suggests, offer everything in a single package. With the all-in-one prepaid plans by Reliance Jio, the subscribers can get IUC minutes, data offering, unlimited calling to Jio numbers, and SMS benefits altogether.

Which One Should You Get?

Now, there is the obvious question of which one would be a better offering for the subscribers. For that, we would like to highlight that in case you have recharged your number with your older plan, or the combo data plan, then you would have to get the IUC talk time voucher mandatorily. That would be a much cheaper option as compared to replacing it with an all-in-one prepaid plan. But, In case your plan is going expire in a few days, and you are looking at options, then we would suggest that you go for the all-in-one prepaid plans which come in various options like the Rs 149, Rs 222, Rs 333, Rs 444, and Rs 555. These plans will save you from the hassle of doing an additional talk time recharge on top of your data plan. However, if your IUC minutes expire, while you are on all-in-one plans, then you will have to go for the IUC talk time voucher anyways.
