Shivaram Krishnan :
ok no problem, i will send advance sms on 30th itself

Wise choice ! In fact I started receiving SMS from 29th onwards and reciprocated too ! Another alternative is – send SMS on 2nd Jan. What difference it makes after all – wishing is important – the recipient too will take it good spirit !The service providers and a starved lot now because they gave the bread to the Raja and therefore expect some crumbs from subscribers !

If operators are not providing benefit of free SMS (and free call also in case of BSNL), even if there is free tariff on customers account, they should increase validity of tariff voucher i.e. if I recharge my BSNL prepaid account with Rs.500 tariff voucher on Dec.26 and its validity is expiring on Jan.24 (30 days) and it didn’t work on Dec.31 and Jan.01 it’s validity should be increased by 2 days. Thus this tariff should work untill Jan.26. TRAI should take action on this.
