MTNL Extends Silver Jubilee 3G Offer for MNP Customers

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), today extended its popular Trump Silver Jubilee Celebration 3G Prepaid offer for MNP customers in Mumbai circle.

Now all Port-In customers who Switch to MTNL from any other mobile service in Mumbai telcom circle via MNP can avail new Life Time valid prepaid 3G connection without changing the number at just Rs.25 with loads of freebies.

Under this offer customer will receive free talk-time worth Rs. 91 as a core balance, free 25 local minutes every month for 3 months, free 250 SMS (local and national) every month for 3 months, free 250 MB 3G data usage every month for 3 months and free 25 minutes video calling on MTNL – Mumbai network.

MNP Customers can also avail the newly launched Rent Free Group Calling Plan FRC-84 at Rs.94 which offers 2p/minute Voice & Video Calls with in the group of 9 Dolphin/Trump numbers, Local calls to all network 30p and STD at 50p/minute. This offer includes free talk time of Rs.54 along with lot of other freebies.

Note : Earlier both offers was available only for new customers/General customers and now MNP Port-In customers can avail these offers with all benefits till 31st March, 2012.

MTNL Mumbai MNP Process :

1. Port-in customer will take UPC by sending SMS PORT followed by 10 Digit Mobile Number to 1900.

2. After sending SMS to 1900, User will receive UPC (Unique Porting Code) as a SMS from 1901 giving 8 digit alpha-numeric Unique Porting Code (UPC) and UPC expiry date in MM/DD/YYYY format

3. Port-in customer need to submit CAF (application form) and MNP form with UPC Along with Address & Identity proof documents, self-attested photo at nearest MTNL CSC.

4. After that you will get a New MTNL SIM, please retain it. You will get a message regarding actual time of port in, in your existing mobile number, after that you can use your new SIM and MTNL ‘s next generation Mobile and Data service.
