Microsoft has released a teaser about the launch of a new Lumia smartphone tomorrow. The device under limelight is a Nokia branded device, and interpreting the tweet, we expect the device to be none other than the Lumia 735 that was announced in September at the IFA in Berlin.

The Nokia Lumia 735 is somewhat identical to the Nokia Lumia 730, which was launched in India in October last year. Although the Lumia 735 supports connectivity options such as single-SIM and 4G LTE in contrast to the Lumai 730 that supports dual-SIM connectivity without 4G LTE. The tweet (below) made by the Lumia account drops many clues such as the Nokia brand, the wide selfie-cam and that it belongs to the Lumia series. The Lumia 730 was endorsed on the basis of its ‘wide-selfie’ feature, therefore, hidden clues in the teaser point towards the launch of its 4G counterpart Lumia 735 in India.

The Lumia 730 was launched for a price of Rs 15,299, and we expect a little higher price tag for the Lumia 735. Last month, Microsoft had launched its online store in India on the e-commerce portal Amazon and the device is most likely to be launched exclusively on Amazon India.

In terms of specifications, the Lumia 735 supports single-SIM connectivity with 4G LTE.  It comes with a 4.7-inch 720p display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

It has 8GB of internal storage further expandable up to 128GB via microSD and also 15GB of OneDrive storage. The phone is backed by a 2,220mAh battery with wireless charging option. In terms of software, the Lumia 735 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update.
