The total 5G subscriber base also crossed 250 million during the quarter, and reached 253 million. The fixed-broadband numbers of Jio are growing fast, and it is a good sign as the telco is adding more and more high-paying customers under its ecosystem. With the fixed broadband connections, Jio also offers a free Set-Top Box (STB) with most of the plans. These plans also come with OTT (over-the-top) benefits. The plans for fiber (fixed broadband) and wireless (AirFiber) are the same.
