Idea to offer ‘Unlimited Night Data’ packs at Rs 19

By April 15th, 2016 AT 12:13 PM

Idea Cellular has launched ‘Unlimited Night Data’ packs across all its circles that would be priced at Rs 19. The new pack will offer unlimited 2G data to its prepaid customers. However , speed will be reduced to 10 Kbps when one would cross 2 GB of usage.

Few months back, Aircel was offering similar kind of packs at only Rs 8 but withdrew the same after few weeks. As 2G speed turns slower and people switched over to 3G for a decent speed ; so, we assume that the pack from Idea Cellular would hardly attract many customers.

Idea knew that no one can cross 2 GB in its 2G network within 6 hours. Thats why it is imposing limit. Cool. This a virtu limit that no one can cross. Lol.
