After Bharti Airtel's move to offer 'Prepaid on Postpaid'; Idea Cellular has now started offering the same to its corporate postpaid connections.
'Prepaid on Postpaid' is a solution that allows people who are using company based corporate connections top up their own number without any hassle. As corporate connections come with limited data or sometimes it doesn't offer any limit, which forces customers to use two SIMs or even two mobile devices for their data needs, this move will help such customers to use data and stick to one SIM.
“At Idea Cellular we understand what our corporate postpaid customers need, hence we are proud to present the new - Prepaid Recharge on Postpaid. This functionality allows online purchase of fixed validity internet packs on corporate postpaid (company paid) connections only. Now on, corporate postpaid customers can go ahead and get unrestricted access to mobile internet without any admin approval or adding to their bill,” the company said.
In March , Airtel introduced this as 'Industry First' which offers to recharge prepaid data packs on top of the corporate connections. However, Idea Cellular hasn't allowed the same and customers only on corporate postpaid plans can top up their data limits through Idea's portal .
With this offer, corporate customers on Idea network would enjoy seamless data benefits in one SIM and Idea's high-speed network. One the other hand, the company will earn additional revenue from these types of services.
