HTC One A9 goes official in India exclusively via Snapdeal, priced at Rs. 29,990

A month ago, HTC announced its flagship smartphone, the One A9 for India. Today, the company has officially launched the device in the country, in an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal. The device will be available in Carbon Gray and Pearl Silver color options, for Rs. 29,990. It will be up for pre-ordering from 9 AM tomorrow till December 14, and will up for regular purchase from December 15.

The HTC One A9 features a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) paired with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage onboard, which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF, alongside an Ultrapixel selfie camera. In the connectivity department, the phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. Backing the HTC One A9 is a 2,150mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
