Freedom251 delivery starts today, Ringing Bells announces new smartphones

Freedom251 will finally get shipped from today, announced the manufacturer Ringing Bells at an event in New Delhi yesterday. At the event, the company has also announced new additional devices, including two new budget smartphones – Ringing Bells Elegance and Ringing Bells Elegant, four feature phones, three power banks, and an HD TV.

The delivery of Freedom251 will be organized in such a way that 5000 devices will be shipped to customers chosen by lucky draws. The company will deliver the rest based on the feedback of these 5000 customers. If to recap, the company had promised the delivery of two lakhs Freedom251 in July.

New Ringing Bells Smartphones – Elegance and Elegant
In terms of the specifications, the newly announced Ringing Bells Elegance and Ringing Bells Elegant smartphones boast of a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280p. The devices are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phones have an internal storage of 8GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Located at the rear of the smartphones are 8MP cameras and 3.2MP in the front. Both smartphones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. These single-SIM smartphones support micro-SIM. In term of connectivity, the smartphones support Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The difference between both the smartphones is in their 4G connectivity. The Ringing Bells Elegance comes with 4G connectivity (with VoLTE support). On the other hand, Ringing Bells Elegant is a 3G phone. Elegance is powered by a 2800mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 4,499. Elegant is powered by a 2500mAh battery and comes with a price tag of Rs. 3,999.

The phones are currently listed on Ringing Bells website, but its availability in the market are unknown.

Other new launches from Ringing Bells
Ringing Bells Hit (Rs. 699), Ringing Bells King (Rs. 899), Ringing Bells Boss (Rs. 999), and Ringing Bells Raja (Rs. 1,099) are the three feature phones announced by the company. Three power banks were also announced - RB Power (4000mAh, Rs. 399), RB Power Plus (5500mAh, Rs. 499), RB Smart (8000mAh, Rs. 699). Ringing Bells has also announced a 31.5-inch HD LED TV priced at Rs. 9,900.

The devices are listed on the company's website. Their date of availability will be announced later. The TV will be launched on August 15.
