Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today comes up with two new SMS packs for Rs.19 and Rs.72, offering FREE Local and National SMS to all networks for its 2G and 3G prepaid subscribers in Tamilnadu circle. 
BSNL’s new SMS STV priced for Rs.19 offers 190 Local and National SMS for 7 days and SMS STV 72 provides 720 Local and National SMS to any networks valid for 30 days. Both SMS STVs are applicable while in Home LSA and National Roaming.
Activation through SMS :
These new packs/STVs can be activated through SMS. To activate the STVs BSNL Tamilnadu subscribers needs to send SMS — SMS19 to 53733 or SMS72 to 53733. The cost of SMS packs will be Rs.16.91 and Rs.64.08 if activated through SMS.
As per TRAI regulation,Beyond free 100 SMS per day,charge of 50p per SMS will be charged or SMS charges as per base tariff plan whichever is higher.
