By March 6th, 2016 AT 4:27 PM

BSNL has introduced missed call service for booking of new landline, broadband and FTTH (Fiber Broadband) connections in Kerala circle. BSNL Kerala Circle has a toll free number 1993 to register for new landline/broadband connections, however it is only available from BSNL network.

Customers who wish to take a new BSNL connection can give a miss call to the mobile number ‘9497979797’. BSNL will call back the customer and collect required information before passing it to the telecom district concerned for provisioning the new connection. The number is accessible from any operator’s network. Customers can also book new connection by sending an SMS BB or LL to 54141 or 9400054141.

The new initiative by BSNL is for customer convenience and also to reduce the efforts of going to the office for purchasing any connection. BSNL has been introducing more and more customer-friendly initiatives to regain market share that it had lost in recent years to private players.

Do check with BSNL before opting the plan.
