BSNL Subscribers Have Good Substitutes for 56 Days Validity Plans from Private Telcos

The latest news in the telecom industry is about the tariff hike which the telecom operator brought together for the subscribers. All the private telecom operators, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, have hiked the prices of their tariff plans by as much as 40%. Two of these telcos, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea face the pressure of AGR dues which these telcos have to pay to the DoT. On the other hand, there is Reliance Jio which is all set to gain the most from the tariff hike. However, this leaves out the state-led telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). Now, after the tariff hike, the private telecom operators introduced some new plans for the subscribers. Some of the notable plans which these introduced come with 56 days validity and are new ones for the customers. These 56 days validity prepaid plans come for Rs 399 and Rs 449 respectively. However, BSNL is also offering similarly priced plans for its customers. BSNL Rs 399 Prepaid Plan Benefits

The first plan that we are talking about is the Rs 399 prepaid plan. This plan is also known as the RakshaBandhan_399 prepaid plan, which was launched during Raksha Bandhan this year. The plan is still available in some circles, and it offers validity of 80 days. It is worth noting that all the other prepaid offerings in this price range from the telecom operators come with 56 days validity. As for the benefits in this prepaid plan, the subscribers enjoy 1GB data per day with after FUP speed of 80 Kbps. Along with this, the subscribers also get access to 100 SMS per day. The calling in this plan remains capped at 250 minutes per day similar to other BSNL prepaid plans. Additionally, there is also free PRBT benefit as well.
