Airtel slashes broadband rates by upto 30 percent, offers higher speed at old plans

As Reliance JIO is nearing the launch of its services, Bharti Airtel, on Monday, reduced the prices of its home broadband plans for all new activations by up to 30 percent, and promised speeds of upto 16 Mbps.


Airtel has also announced an exciting scheme called “Airtel Surprises” for all existing customers that offers higher speeds and extra data benefits for free. Existing Airtel Broadband customers can log on to to check their offers. Also, they can either choose a lower rental offer or speed upgradation free of cost.

“With this, all new customers on Airtel have to just pay for data benefits and they can avail the best possible internet speed at their home at no extra cost,” the ISP said in a statement. Airtel is also offering unlimited free calls to its broadband users at free of cost, which acts like an icing on top of the cake.
