Bharti Airtel Brings a New Prepaid Plan With 75 Days Validity and 105GB Data Benefit

Bharti Airtel is currently in the process of trimming down its tariff plans list. Recently, the telco removed Rs 549 and Rs 799 prepaid recharges from its portfolio, but that doesn’t mean the telco will not launch new tariff plans to the customers. The telco has now come up with a new 1.4GB daily data prepaid plan priced at Rs 419 and it joins the company’s other prepaid plans with 1.4GB daily data benefit such as Rs 199, Rs 219, Rs 399, Rs 448 and Rs 509. The best part of this new prepaid plan from Airtel is it’s an open market one, meaning any Airtel prepaid customer in the country can recharge this plan to enjoy the benefits for 75 days.

Bharti Airtel Rs 419 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Validity

Diving into the details of Rs 419 prepaid plan from Airtel, it offers unlimited voice calls to any network in India, 1.4GB of daily data benefit and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the plan is 75 days. To make things clear, Airtel is offering voice calls without any FUP limit for a long time to take on Reliance Jio. And if a user doesn’t have 4G coverage in their location, the network will fall back to 3G or 2G depending on the availability. Users can still consume 1.4GB data per day on 3G or 2G network.

Airtel Rs 419 Recharge vs Rs 399 Prepaid Recharge

As mentioned above, Airtel is also providing a recharge plan of Rs 399, which is also an open market one across all the circles. The only difference between the newly introduced Rs 419 plan and the existing Rs 399 plan is the validity. To recall, the Rs 399 prepaid recharge from Airtel also offers a user 1.4GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for a period of 70 days. Do make a note that some Airtel users will get the same Rs 399 plan for a period of 84 days. But it’s a segmented offer as the open market Rs 399 plan offers benefits for only 70 days.

Airtel Prepaid Plans With 1.4GB Daily Data Benefit

Airtel has a total of five prepaid plans with 1.4GB daily data benefit. The plans in question are Rs 199, Rs 219, Rs 399, Rs 448 and Rs 509. All these plans offer 1.4GB 2G/3G/4G data per day, unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period. But the validity of these plans differ. The Rs 199 and Rs 219 prepaid plans come with 28 days validity and the only difference is the latter offers free Hello Tune subscription for 28 days. The Rs 399 plan, aforesaid, is valid for 84 days for select users and 70 days for all the users. The Rs 448 is an open market plan with 82 days validity, while Rs 509 plan offers the benefits for 90 days from the date of recharge. With the new Rs 419 prepaid plan, Airtel has a total of six plans offering 1.4GB daily data benefit.

#NoobAlert :p

Hey someone posted this screenshot in poco official group stating that the Poco F1 supports MIMO on wifi.

So, does it also mean that I’ll get MIMO in mobile networks as well (wherever available) ?
Is there a difference between getting MIMO on wifi and in mobile network?

plans with 1.4GB daily data benefit such as
Rs 199 (28), 7.1 per day
Rs 219 (28), 7.82
Rs 399 (70), 5.7
Rs. 419 (75), 5.587 ~ 5.6
Rs 448 (84), 5.33
and Rs 509 (91). 5.59 ~ 5.6 rupees per day.
So I recharge only 399 if validity is 84 days on my mother’s number.
It should be arranged like in Jio.

Obviously more people are latched onto Jio so the towers will get choked. Gotta wait post the spectrum auction so that Jio can double on the spectrum, and also add 4×4 MIMO antennae to their towers.

Which phone do you have? If it’s a snapdragon one, and if it supports CA and it’s rooted, then stuff in your vodafone sim, open network signal guru. You should see 4×4 MIMO for Vodafone. Jio will probably still be having 2×2 MIMO.

So, a lot of people are using it, the network is chocked. So it is a bad operator right now, no?

I never said anything about Jio being a bad operator. Jio needs a lot of spectrum and they should upgrade the towers with the new spectrum that they’ll buy in the auctions. For now, he should continue using Vodafone while keeping the Jio sim idle for a year until Jio gets more spectrum in the auctions.

Acha, so can you stuff in your vodafone sim and start up network signal guru? send me a screenie of the page which shows the band info along with mimo status. I hope you rooted your op6 as doing so won’t void warranty. You should see 4×2 or 4×4 for Vodafone.
