Give Developers Access to the Network

Using Nokia's Network as Code platform with developer portal, StarHub will offer developers access to its network capabilities and create software applications that work across its 5G and 4G networks. The platform provides developers standardised access to network functions through APIs without having to navigate the underlying network technologies.

StarHub's Chief Technology Officer said: "Giving developers access to a wider selection of attractive network APIs is critical to unlocking the full value of 5G and 4G networks in Singapore and the wider region."

Focus on Ecosystem and Standards

StarHub has been actively supporting efforts through GSMA Open Gateway and the Linux Foundation's CAMARA to define API standards that developers can use to create new use cases for their customers. Nokia says it contributes to both GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA and has a global ecosystem of over 45 partners, including operators, hyperscalers like Google Cloud, and Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) providers such as Infobip.
