Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) didn't raise the prices of its prepaid plans when the private telecom operators did. Thus its Rs 599 plan offers way more benefits than what you will get by paying a similar amount to a private telco. However, this plan is only fun when you are under the 4G coverage of BSNL. It is worth noting that BSNL's 4G is not available everywhere. The state-run telecom operator is rolling out 4G in 1 lakh sites and so far has rolled it out in more than 35000 sites. The 1 lakh sites will be reached by mid-2025 or June 2025. Let's take a look at the Rs 599 plan from BSNL to understand what's so great about it.

BSNL also recently launched a new plan of Rs 345. This plan comes with a service validity of 60 days. With it, users get 1GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day. Post the consumption of FUP (fair usage policy) data, the speed drops to 40 Kbps. Both these plans offer plenty of validity to the users for the price they are costing.

Once BSNL launches 4G in every part of the country, then these plans would become twice as attractive for the consumers. BSNL is also working on bringing a solution to its networks that will allow users to identify calls which fall in the spam and fraud category.
