Quippo Telecom Infrastructure Ltd today announced that it will be installing Neutral Host Shared In-Building Communication Solution at IGI Airport’s upcoming Terminal 3.
The solution will be on active fiber based technology and is first of its kind in the Indian telecom industry for wireless Coverage (GSM, CDMA & UMTS). This would be done with the help of Ericsson as its technical partner.
QTIL’s IBS vertical has emerged as a strong player in telecom sector. The solution benefits operators by way of removing CapEx liability for infrastructure, as well as the number of installed BTS’s. QTIL-IBS vertical intends to have the largest portfolio in passive shared IBS sites. The choice of active and passive Shared IBS solution is based on the footfall per site and the capacity augmentation as fore-seen and planned by sharing operators. QTIL-IBS claims it works towards building partnership with operators for managed services and to reduce the operation and maintenance cost per site for the operators.
Mr. Arun Kapur Managing Director Quippo Telecom, quoted "We are very excited to be associated with the first Neutral Host Network Solution project in this space in India and we will give best of our solutions to our valued users." He further added, "We at Quippo are committed to become true strategic and growth partners of the service providers bringing unparalleled benefits of capital, size & scale, technology and the highest service standards. Quippo aims to become a true infrastructure partner to the telecom world."
