Realme 5s will soon take on the Redmi Note 8 smartphone in India. Realme, which is all set to launch the Realme X2 series in India on November 20, has now confirmed that it will also launch the Realme 5s in the sub-continent during the same event. The Realme 5s will come as a successor to the Realme 5, similar to the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7s smartphones. The primary highlight of the Realme 5s will be the 48MP primary camera and the phone will compete with the Redmi Note 8 head-on. Other expected features of the Realme 5s include Full HD+ display and USB Type-C port on the bottom. Unlike the Redmi Note 8 which features a glass body, the Realme 5s will stick to the polycarbonate body. The Realme 5s will be a Flipkart Unique smartphone and the pricing is expected to start at Rs 9,999.

Realme 5s to Offer Quad Camera Setup With 48MP Primary Lens
Ever since its first launch, Realme is going after Chinese brand Xiaomi in India because it’s the leading smartphone brand with a market share of over 25%. Realme’ strategy is pretty simple- take on Xiaomi at its own game. Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 8 last month and it’s the best smartphone in the sub-Rs 10,000 price point right now. Earlier, Realme launched the Realme 5 at a starting price of Rs 9,999, but the Redmi Note 8 killed it with impressive specs on board.
