Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been in a financially tough situation since the last few years, but despite its grim financial conditions, the state-led telecom operator is not giving up on its customers. The telco had already put forth its plans of rolling out consumer-centric plans and offers to attract the new subscribers and to please its existing subscribers as well. In the past few months, thee moves have made their impact, and the subscribers seem to be drawn to the BSNL offers largely because they offer more benefits as compared to their competing private offerings. One of the best examples of such offerings has been the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan by BSNL which has always been a step ahead of the other Rs 1,699 prepaid plans from the private telecom operator. Now, the entire October, the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan was under another attractive offer which included a validity extension of 90 days. However, this offer was valid only till October 31, but now it seems that to give the consumers another shot at this offer, albeit with little reduced benefits, BSNL has rolled out a new offer. Here are all the details you should know.

New Offer On Rs 1,699 BSNL Prepaid Plan for November

Under this new offer which BSNL has rolled out for the subscribers of Rs 1,699 prepaid plan, the telecom operator is offering 425 days of validity which means that BSNL prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 will come with 60 days of extra validity or two months of extra service on top of the annual validity which it normally provides. Also, the interested customers should know that the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan ships 365 days of validity with 2GB data per day benefit along with 250 minutes of calling per day and 100 SMS per day also. However, under this offer, the subscribers will be able to enjoy 3GB data per day in November and December if they subscribe to this plan before the month-end. This new offer would be valid from November 7 to November 30, 2019. This means that out of the 455 days, for 60 days, the subscribers would enjoy 1GB extra data per day on top of the usual limit.

Previous Offers on Rs 1,699 BSNL Prepaid Plan

To recall, the previous offer on the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan was offering 455 days of validity or, three months extra service on top of the annual validity. Not only this, combined with the Bumper Offer, the subscribers were also getting 4.2GB daily data benefit earlier for a limited time period. Later on, when the Bumper Offer was withdrawn, BSNL brought new data benefit which was giving 1.5GB extra data for a month and a 1GB extra data for a month. With this new offer, the telecom operator has given a third iteration to the validity extension on the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan.

BSNL Annual Offering Comes With Most Data

On the other hand, other private telecom operators also ship the same plan for Rs 1,699 in which they offer 365 days of validity along with unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and different data benefits. But, none of the private telecom operators offer as much data as BSNL in this plan. For example, Reliance Jio offers 1.5GB data per day in this plan, whereas Bharti Airtel offers 1.4GB data per day. But, the catch with these offerings is that they also come with kind of extra benefit which includes a subscription to Reliance Jio apps in the first case and for the latter it includes Wynk Music, Airtel Xstream, Norton Mobile Security and Shaw Academy access for four weeks. But, when it is a competition purely between data offerings, BSNL prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 has a lead over other competing prepaid plans.
