There has always been a certain divide between the postpaid and prepaid users, and the difference has majorly been in how both the kind of customers like to access their service. Most people preferred postpaid in the recent past because they wanted to enjoy uninterrupted services and also the unique benefits which the postpaid users were entitled to. However, the prepaid plans which are currently available in the market for Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and other subscribers sometimes trump the postpaid offerings in benefits and service. This is one of the reasons why a lot of people could be considering prepaid plans instead of postpaid plans. In case you are one of the people who would like to explore convenient options to replace your postpaid plan, then here are some Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel prepaid plans for your consideration.

Reliance Jio Prepaid Plans as a Replacement for Postpaid

The first plan in this list is the simple prepaid plan by Reliance Jio, which is possibly the most popular one among the users, and it is the Rs 149 prepaid recharge. The Rs 149 prepaid recharge by Reliance Jio offers 1.5GB data to the subscribers per day, and it comes with 28 days validity. The subscribers also get 100 SMS per day, unlimited calling and access to Jio apps as well.

Going up the ladder for slightly heavy data users, there is the Rs 198 prepaid plan by Reliance Jio which ships 2GB data per day combined with all the other benefits like unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and the subscription to Reliance Jio apps. Similar to the above-mentioned plan, the Rs 198 prepaid plan also comes with 28 days validity.

Bharti Airtel has a prepaid portfolio which resembles that of Reliance Jio. The prepaid plans that we are listing here can be used as a substitute for postpaid plans. Under these plans, the subscribers will get daily data and the unlimited calling option. With the same price tags, the postpaid users are likely to enjoy lesser data. As such, these prepaid plans could come off to be the more economical choice for the customers.

Bharti Airtel Prepaid Plans as a Replacement for Postpaid

The first Bharti Airtel prepaid plan that can be a good consideration is the Rs 199 prepaid plan which offers 1.5GB data per day along with unlimited calling and SMS benefits as well. Now before you say that this plan is comparatively overpriced as compared to the Reliance Jio plan, you need to consider that this plan also comes with other benefits like Airtel Xstream subscription, Norton security for one year, a free 4-week course at Shaw academy, and Wynk Music all under Airtel Thanks. This plan also comes with 28 days of validity.

Next up, there is also the 2GB daily data plan which is available to Airtel prepaid subscribers for Rs 249 per month. But, there is a special catch to this plan. The plan does not only offer 2GB daily data, unlimited calling and SMS, but it also bundles a special benefit of Rs 4 Lakh Term Life Insurance Cover from HDFC Life which is in addition to all the Airtel Thanks benefit which we listed for the previous Rs 199 prepaid plan. The plan also comes with 28 days of validity.

For subscribers, who want to opt for even more daily data for higher data usage, they can go for the Rs 299 prepaid plan, which also offers 28 days validity and 2.5GB data per day. The Rs 299 prepaid plan also bundles an Amazon Prime subscription in its benefits, along with the other Airtel Thanks benefits. Lastly, there is the Rs 349 prepaid plan by Airtel for 28 days which offers 3GB data per day, unlimited calling, Shaw academy course, Wynk Music, Norton Mobile Security for a year and the Airtel Xstream benefit.
