Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan Offering One Month Extra Service: Check Method, Benefits and Pricing

A few days back one of the major DTH providers of India, Tata Sky lost its competitive edge to its competitor as it was forced to phase out its multi-TV policy. The service provider was asked to do away with its multi-TV system and then forced to charge individually for all connections, a move which was not appreciated by the consumers. However, to remain competitive in the market, the service provider retaliated with a second price cut on its set-top boxes, making its STBs cheaper than Dish TV's. With that being said, Tata Sky also has another competitive edge, and that is of Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan. This offer could get the Tata Sky customers one free month of service, and here is how they can go about it.

Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan Details

Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan is the long-term plan solution from Tata Sky. Since the consumers have no other solution of choosing plans with 6-months or 12-months validity with discount, subscribers can benefit from the Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan to get similar benefits. The true benefit of this plan is a free month of service which subscribers enjoy upon ensuring 12 months of recharge in their account. When subscribers become eligible for the Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan, they will eventually get one month of monthly burn rate (MBR) or simply one month of rental credited into their accounts.

How to Get Benefits of Tata Sky Flexi Plan

To be eligible for the benefits of the Tata Sky Annual Flexi Plan, the subscribers will not have to do any separate registration. They will simply have to recharge their Tata Sky account with the balance equivalent of 12-months of service or 12 times their monthly recharge amount. On doing this, the monthly amount will keep on deducting from the users' accounts. At the end of the 12 months, the subscribers will get the promised benefit of one free month of recharge.

However, the subscribers of Tata Sky should note that in case if they change their plans in between the 12-months period, then they will have to recharge their Tata Sky account again with the revised amount. For example, if the initial pack of Tata Sky subscribers was Rs 3,600 annually, and then they switch a pack costing Rs 400 per month, then the subscribers would have to pay the difference of Rs 1,200 and deposit 1,200 extra in their Tata Sky account to be eligible for the benefits.

The benefits of the Annual Flexi Plan are seen only on the 12th month by the subscribers, where they are able to enjoy the 13th month of subscription for free. It is also worth noting that there are other DTH service providers like Dish and D2h, which are offering a similar benefit to their customers. On paying upfront for the entire year, the subscribers are able to get one free month of service.
